Where YouTube Music fits
Consider it when your listening already includes music found on YouTube.
Check before you choose
Check background playback and offline-access conditions for the chosen plan.
Find the right edition
Start with the destination for your device or the publisher's website. Use the current requirements and terms there to confirm the edition you need.
Compare the workflow
Regional rights and device support determine what a streaming service can provide. A personal media server is a different choice from a subscription catalog, and a free app does not mean every title is included.
