Where Apple TV fits
Consider it when a particular program is available through your Apple account.
Check before you choose
Distinguish subscriptions, rentals and purchases before assuming a title is included.
Find the right edition
Start with the destination for your device or the publisher's website. Use the current requirements and terms there to confirm the edition you need.
Compare the workflow
Regional rights and device support determine what a streaming service can provide. A personal media server is a different choice from a subscription catalog, and a free app does not mean every title is included.
