Where Speedtest fits
Use it to compare a connection under repeatable conditions while troubleshooting.
Check before you choose
Run several tests and distinguish the test result from the speed available to every website.
Find the right edition
Start with the destination for your device or the publisher's website. Use the current requirements and terms there to confirm the edition you need.
Compare the workflow
Identify the problem before installing a utility. File search, remote support, hardware inspection and bootable media preparation need different permissions and can affect the computer in different ways.
