Where Linux Mint fits
Consider it when moving everyday computer work to Linux.
Check before you choose
Test Wi-Fi, graphics and the applications you depend on from a live session first.
Find the right edition
Start with the destination for your device or the publisher's website. Use the current requirements and terms there to confirm the edition you need.
Compare the workflow
A desktop distribution, a server system and a specialist toolkit serve different purposes. Decide whether you want a fixed release, rolling updates or a declarative setup before comparing desktop appearances.
